Urban Massage Therapy began over 20 years ago when RMTs Chassity and Mike White opened their first location in River Heights.

Eight years ago they moved their practice to Wolseley, where they have been able to expand their services and provide an even higher level of care to clients old and new. At UMT we have a team of 12 registered and licensed Massage Therapists.

Stacey Speers

RMT
Registered Massage Therapy

Stacey is a warm, open-minded and joyful character who is passionate to learn about the mind, body and earth connections. Her approach is generally slow and deep, highlighting her thoughtful and caring personality as she ‘listens’ with her hands. She has experience working with elderly, people with physical and mental disabilities, pre and post-natal mothers, and athletes. She worked in Chelsea, Quebec and recently moved back to Manitoba because she loves the cold… I mean, the Manitoban community spirit. (Her husky loves the cold though!) One of her theories is that a happy husky is a happy human, as she is a dog and animal lover to her core. She is also a firm believer that getting outdoors is part of a healthy lifestyle.

Stacey completed an education in advanced remedial massage therapy at Massage Therapy College of Manitoba (now Evolve College) with 2204 credit hours in 2016. She is qualified in Swedish massage, myofascial massage, joint mobility and advanced remedial massage. Stacey also incorporates Thai massage techniques and craniosacral therapy as learned in multiple continuing education courses. She is a member in good standing with Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
